The purpose of this project is to prove categorically that the idea conceived by us is valid and the device works as intended.
Our past failed experiments in building wave energy conversion devices and the research information obtained on industry wide devices that are under trial has made us strongly believe the industry needs a versatile device that can capture regular, irregular, uniform and erratic wave motions and forces and convert them to unidirectional rotation to feed generators.
We built three prototypes. The first one proved the partial realization of the initial concept. The second prototype proved categorically the validity of the original idea and also added additional features to enhance utility. The third prototype significantly simplified the second prototype in terms of effort to build, number of components and cost. All the prototypes were operated by hand. The third prototype was coupled to a generator and successfully produced power.
The next prototype will be built in a work shop with state of the art machine tools for precision and accuracy. This prototype will be deployed on a boat / buoy with a swinging pendulum for power generation.
